Jeni Port is a freelance wine writer based in Melbourne. She was the longest-running wine writer at The Age newspaper and now writes for Australia’s major wine magazines, including Gourmet Traveller WINE, James Halliday and Wine Selectors. She judges wine in Australia as well as internationally, and is the author of three wine books. In 2014, Wine Communicators of Australia named her Wine Communicator of the Year and she was also awarded a legend of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival.
